
Lauren Jones, VMD
Dr. Lauren Jones is the proud owner of the Animal Hospital of Chester County! Her journey in veterinary medicine began with a biology degree from Arcadia University in 2005, followed by her doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Following graduation, she honed her skills in private practice, developing a passion for preventative medicine, exotic animal care, neonatology and obstetrics, and dentistry. In 2017, Dr. Jones’s dream of ownership became a reality with her purchase of Animal Hospital of Chester County. Dr. Jones is committed to not only providing exceptional care to her patients but also to supporting the veterinary industry as a whole. She has a strong interest in fighting burnout and creating work environments that prioritize both excellent pet care and the well-being of veterinary professionals. Outside of the hospital, Dr. Jones’s life is full of activity, family, and fun! She shares her home with her husband, Jack, their three children, Griffin, Charlotte, and Jack Jr., their Quarter Horse, Timon and her Maine Coon cats, Tug and Tay. You might find her enjoying a yoga session, immersed in music, cheering on Philadelphia sports teams, or indulging in a good book.
Maribeth Shea, DVM
Dr. Maribeth Shea graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. After practicing in Chester Springs for 11 years, she joined AHCC in 2004. In her role as Medical Director of AHCC she mentors and guides young doctors, technicians and assistants to learn and grow to be their best. Dr. Shea enjoys working closely with her patients and their families throughout all life stages. She has particular interest in helping pets and their families navigate difficult illnesses and allowingss older patients maintain dignity and a good quality of life. Outside of work, Dr. Shea enjoys hiking around beautiful Chester County, working out and traveling far and wide with her family.


Katie McIntyre-Sweet, VMD
Dr. Katie McIntyre grew up in Chester County and obtained her bachelor’s degree from the Pennsylvania State University. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2010 and then completed a one-year rotating internship at the Veterinary Specialty Center of Delaware. Since then, Dr. McIntyre has been working in general practice in Delaware and Pennsylvania, and she joined the AHCC team in 2021. Dr. McIntyre enjoys caring for your pets throughout all stages of their life with preventative care and management of acute and chronic conditions as they arise. Her special interests include internal medicine and dentistry. Dr. McIntyre lives in West Chester with her husband, 3 children, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. She enjoys outdoor activities, exercising, home improvement projects, and spending time with her family and friends.
Paula Colletti, VMD, DABVP (Canine/Feline Practice)
Dr. Colletti received her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, followed by a one-year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Oradell Animal Hospital in Paramus, New Jersey. She then returned to Pennsylvania and has enjoyed small animal general practice in the Delaware Valley since. Dr. Colletti has been certified in canine and feline practice by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners since 2002 and is required to recertify every 10 years. She’s very active within this organization and is the past Continuing Education Chair as well as the current Leadership Development Chair. Dr. Colletti is Fear-Free certified and endeavors to make your pet’s visit as stress-free as possible. She lives in Chester Springs with her husband, Tony, and their two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, Rocky and Enzo. In her spare time, Dr. Colletti enjoys reading, fitness training, sporting events, and outdoor activities with Tony and the dogs.


Allison DiRenzo, DVM
Dr. Allison DiRenzo is a 2013 graduate of Western University of Health Sciences, School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her bachelor’s degree in Animal Science from Rutgers University and her master’s degree in Biology from West Chester University. She was raised in Delaware County and currently resides in Chester County. Her interests include senior pet care, rescue work and surgery. Outside of the hospital, Allison enjoys spending time with her husband and their two sons, as well as their dog Lady and three cats (Filly, Captain, and Turbo). She is an avid equestrian. Most of her free time is spent with her family, on horseback or—when she’s lucky enough—at the beach. Allison is excited to help AHCC patients continue to maintain happy, healthy lives with their families.
Alyssa Ruggeri, CVT
Alyssa graduated from Harcum College with a degree in Veterinary Technology and earned her certification in 2018. She recently transitioned into her new role as Practice Manager here at AHCC. Alyssa is very dedicated to ensuring our team is thriving and striving. She loves hiking outdoors with her Labrador Retriever, Emery, and tending to her garden.


Courtney Barry, CVT
Courtney graduated from West Chester University with a Chemistry-Biology degree she then went on to obtain a degree in Veterinary Technology from Harcum College. She’s been in the veterinary field since 2007. Her interests include dental care for pets and anesthesia, as well as helping answer new puppy owners with all their questions. Her dog Sam loves to join her for kayaking, froyo, and his regular teeth brushing. She also has a horse, Ember, who she spends time training her for jumping, trick training, and mounted archery.
Monica Ford, CVT
I graduated from Harcum College and became a certified tech in 2004. I have been working in the veterinary field ever since. When I am not working I love spending time with my husband and kids! I love watching my son play ice hockey and soccer and my daughter play soccer and in cheer. We have 2 dogs Mable and Otto and a kitty named India.

Kim Murray, CSR
Kim is happy to be helping animals and their owners as a customer service representative at AHCC! She is pleased to be an administrative and customer service extraordinaire, working with a highly skilled veterinary team who loves animals as much as she does. Also a musician, Kim has owned and operated her own music studio for over 25 years. In her free time, she can be found playing piano, flute or clarinet, or spending time with her husband and two dogs, Sadie & Sully.
