At the Animal Hospital of Chester County, one of our responsibilities as your veterinary team is to continually evaluate new medications, research, and treatment options to ensure we are recommending what we believe provides the best protection for your pet.
For many years, we have confidently recommended combinations such as Sentinel Spectrum and Bravecto. These products have served patients well and remain safe and effective options.
When newer all in one parasite preventions first became available, our doctors intentionally took a cautious approach. Rather than switching immediately, we chose to wait, review emerging safety data, monitor real world use, and evaluate long term efficacy.
After careful review and clinical experience, we now feel comfortable recommending Credelio Quattro as our primary prevention option for most dogs.

An added benefit is cost. For many families, Credelio Quattro is less expensive than purchasing Sentinel Spectrum and Bravecto together while simplifying dosing into one medication. AHCC has intentionally priced this product below many online pharmacy options, like Chewy, so clients can receive competitive pricing while maintaining manufacturer sourced medications and product integrity. The most affordable option is through our online pharmacy, Blue Rabbit.
Do I Have to Switch?
Not at all! We will always respect individual patient needs and client preferences. If your pet is doing well on their current prevention plan, we are happy to continue prescribing it. We will eventually only carry Credlio Quattro in stock at the hospital, so all other medications will need to be purchased through online pharmacies like Blue Rabbit or Chewy.
Our goal is simply to ensure you are aware of our most current medical recommendation so you can make an informed decision. Updating recommendations is part of how we continue providing the level of care our patients deserve.
